Come explore the Psalms with us in a fresh, creative way! The Psalms have been teaching God’s people how to pray for thousands of years, giving voice to every emotion and stage of life—joy, grief, gratitude, despair, hope, and everything in between. This project invites you to dive into the Psalms, carry their words with you, and create something meaningful out of your experience.
What to Expect:
Jan. 29th – Introduction Night- Learn about the Psalms, pick one to focus on, and get inspired to start your journey.
Feb. 5th – Workshop Night- Spend some time reflecting, brainstorming, and working on your creative response.
Feb. 19th – Sharing Night- Share your creation and stories of how the Psalm spoke to you during the process.
Here’s How It Works:
Join us on January 29th to dive into the Psalms and choose one that resonates with you.
Carry your Psalm with you over the next few weeks—memorize it, reflect on it, and let it show up in your daily life.
Get creative! Make something inspired by your Psalm—anything from a poem to a song, a photograph, a Lego tower, a new recipe, or even a choreographed dance. It’s wide open—whatever feels authentic to you. Just document it so you can share it!
On February 19th, we’ll come together for an exhibit night to showcase what we’ve created and share how the Psalms have worked in our lives. This is for everyone—young or old, creative or not-so-creative. It’s not about perfection; it’s about showing up and letting God do something new through you.
We can’t wait to see what God stirs up through this project. Let’s grow together in prayer, creativity, and community!
