Churchwide Dinner & Christmas Concert

Concert at 6:30 p.m.
Join us on Wednesday, December 6, for a churchwide dinner and Christmas concert for the whole family. Dinner will begin at 5:00 p.m. with homemade chili and cornbread in FE200. Then, follow us down to the Sanctuary for a Christmas musical performance of the combined adult choirs of Covenant and First Presbyterian Churches, Covenant’s children’s choirs, Journey youth choir, Pro Musica handbells, and guest musicians. The presentation will feature seasonal music, including Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on Christmas Carols.

Kids Very Merry Advent Dinner

Join us for the 2nd Annual Very Merry Advent Dinner! We invite your family to kick off the Christmas season as we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Christ.
The evening will begin with carols at 5:00 pm in the Sanctuary – we will follow a program of fun, reverent and memorable Christmas carols. Dinner will follow in FEB 200.
Pre-registration is required. Please register each person who will attend including children. The nursery will not be open during this event as we want to include all family members.

Gear up for the Youth Group grand finale of the semester as we celebrate with our spectacular THANKSMAS PARTY! 🌟🎄
Wednesday, December 6th —will be the last Youth Group of the semester, and we’re turning it into an Advent Thanksmas Party! Middle schoolers, your party kicks off from 5:30-7 PM on the 4th floor, and HS kids, you go from 7-8:30.
We are kicking off the Thanksgiving parties with a huge White Elephant Gift Exchange. This year, both MS and HS will get to participate. If you would like to join, please bring a wrapped gift worth 10 dollars or less to join in the merry madness of our White Elephant Gift Exchange—it’s the ultimate way to spread the holiday cheer! We will also have lots of games, worship, and a special Christmas devo.
For just 5 dollars, we will be having Chick-fil-A, chips, and drinks for dinner. We’ve also got ice cream and candy galore to sweeten the deal and elevate the THANKSMAS vibes.
Let’s wrap up the semester with a bang and usher in the holiday season with joy, laughter, and a whole lot of THANKSMAS spirit!

Donate a poinsettia to decorate the Sanctuary or FE 200 in honor of or in memory of loved ones. Each poinsettia is $15, and may be ordered two ways:
- Through Realm at covenant.org/give. Choose the fund marked “Poinsettias” and add “in Honor” or “in Memory” and names of those being honored in the memo line.
- By filling out and submitting the Poinsettia Donation Forms found throughout Covenant’s campus, with your check to Covenant Hall/Accounting Department.
Please place your order by December 17 to ensure acknowledgment in the bulletin.

The Christmas Giving Tree is an opportunity to give back this Advent season by donating gift cards and supplies to mission partners in need. We’ll have Christmas trees on campus with labeled ornaments explaining how to support our donation recipients.
The Christmas Giving Trees will be out on the patio as well as in the Lobby of the Fellowship and Education building every Sunday morning from December 3 – December 17.

This party will allow them to experience the love of Christ as they celebrate the Advent Season. We need volunteers to help in a number of ways including: Decorating wreaths to give our guests, helping with set up and attending the event.
