Children ages 4 years-5th grade get excited about God as they explore a new lesson each week through crafting, snacking, gaming, storytelling, acting and other creative ways to experience and learn about the Bible. Whether we are all together or broken into small groups, children find themselves in a supportive, caring place where they can share their thoughts and prayer requests. Parents drop off and pick up in FE 321 for 4 years – 1st grade. Our 2nd – 5th graders are dropped off in FE 300.
For more information about our children's programs, contact Christy Milam or Rachael McConnell.
Our nursery provides safe and loving childcare for babies three months up to four years old. Our nursery is divided by developmental stages; children grow and learn at their own pace. Our staff, trained in CPR and first aid, provide care for all worship services and most church-wide events.
In Covenant’s preschool ministry, we deliver age-appropriate Bible lessons through small group time, and do activities and crafts to convey messages of God's love. Parents securely sign their children into a classroom on the second or third floor of the Fellowship and Education Building.
Kindergartners through 3rd grade students start their Sunday with a large gathering where they sing songs of worship and praise. Once the children are motivated and energized to learn, they are divided into grade and gender groups led by dedicated small group leaders.. Through these small groups, children get a sense of belonging and share lessons that help them know Jesus better.
4th grade parents drop off on the third floor of the Fellowship and Education Building in rooms 302 and 304.
Our 5th graders build upon the knowledge gained in 4th grade by studying the New Testament. Our preteens continue their small group practice where they can “hang out” and engage in prayer. Parents drop off and pick up in rooms 106 and 108 on the 1st floor of the Fellowship and Education Building.
Children ages 4 years through 1st grade gather in room 320 of the Fellowship and Education Building to engage in free play followed by a Bible story accompanied by games, activities and crafts to enhance and enlighten their learning experience.
