We want Covenant kids to know who God is and how much He loves them. We provide activities and programming to meet kids where they are, offering new experiences as they grow and mature. We reach out to the whole family, partnering with parents to help them in their role as the family’s spiritual leaders.

Sunday Morning

9:30 a.m., Fellowship and Education Building

First time checking kids into Sunday School? Find us at the information desk in the Fellowship and Education building, and we'll direct you from there! We have touch screen kiosks that print out name tags and provide a secure check in/out process to ensure safety for our kids.

Wednesday Night

6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: What a Wednesday (four years – fifth grade)

Children ages 4 years-5th grade get excited about God as they explore a new lesson each week through crafting, snacking, gaming, storytelling, acting and other creative ways to experience and learn about the Bible.  Whether we are all together or broken into small groups, children find themselves in a supportive, caring place where they can share their thoughts and prayer requests. Parents drop off and pick up in FE 321 for 4 years – 1st grade.  Our 2nd – 5th graders are dropped off in FE 300.

For more information about our children's programs, contact Christy Milam or Rachael McConnell.

Sunday Classes

Our nursery provides safe and loving childcare for babies three months up to four years old. Our nursery is divided by developmental stages; children grow and learn at their own pace. Our staff, trained in CPR and first aid, provide care for all worship services and most church-wide events.

In Covenant’s preschool ministry, we deliver age-appropriate Bible lessons through small group time, and do activities and crafts to convey messages of God's love. Parents securely sign their children into a classroom on the third floor of the Fellowship and Education Building.

Kindergarten - 3rd Grade

Kindergartners through 3rd grade students start their Sunday with a large gathering where they sing songs of worship and praise. They are then divided into grade and gender groups led by “shepherds” (volunteers). Through these small groups, children get a sense of belonging and share lessons that help them know Jesus better.

4th Grade

Our program for fourth graders is Bible-focused; encouraging these kids to dig deeper into the Gospel. As our children express their questions and strive for better understanding, they begin to feel comfortable in scripture and small group practice.

Team 5 (5th grade)

Team 5, our ministry for fifth graders, builds upon prior biblical knowledge and gives a preview of our student ministry. Our preteens can “hang out” together, play fun games and engage in prayer.
