Very Interesting Seniors Investigating Our New Season
Covenant offers programs and events well suited for the specific needs and desires of our older adults. These fellowship and congregational care opportunities enrich the lives of our senior members. Many of these activities are considered VISIONS events or “Very Interesting Seniors Investigating Our New Season of life.” Covenant’s senior adults participate in monthly outings and meetings, special events, and ongoing church-wide programs. We encourage all to join, including visitors and persons of all ages.

Armchair Travelers will have their last meeting of the year on Thursday, May 2 with Bretna Hackert and Susan Telge presenting their Great Rails Journey thru the Highlands of Scotland from the fall of 2023. The trip included high tea on a double-decker bus in Edinburgh, the Jacobite steam engine over the Glenfinnan Viaduct, feeding Highland coos, touring castles, and cruising on lochs. Unfortunately, there were no sightings of Nessie.
We meet at 7 pm in FEB 200, with light refreshments provided. We encourage those that can join us in-person to do so, but we will also share the presentation via Zoom for those who cannot attend in-person.
Please contact Marv Hackert for information, to volunteer to share your travel experience, or to get on the email contact list.
