The next phase of construction is expected to begin in early October 2024.
During this period, we will experience limited access to large exterior portions of our campus. Parking will be more constrained than ever, and access to our patio will be restricted for up to seven months. We appreciate your partnership and understanding as we navigate these temporary inconveniences.
The Session has called a Congregational Meeting for Sunday, September 8 to hear updates on this project. Members are invited to join us following the 11:00 a.m. service in FE200 to learn more. Box lunches will be available for purchase for the first 100 guests.

When many churches face decline, we are blessed with remarkable growth. This growth requires enhanced facilities, and revitalizing our campus will help us continue serving as a vessel for God’s work in our community. This project encompasses the revitalization of Eaton Hall and significant upgrades to our patio and walkways, improving accessibility and community access.
This ambitious $6.2 million project, fully funded through the Unlocking Joy Capital Campaign, is a testament to the generosity of our congregation, who raised $6.9 million in total. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed, demonstrating a deep commitment to advancing God’s work through Covenant. Your support has made these transformative improvements possible, ensuring we continue to serve as a vessel for His work in our community.

During construction, parking will be more limited than usual. Parking on campus should be prioritized for those with mobility impairments and visitors on Sunday mornings. We strongly encourage utilizing Covenant’s shuttle lot located at Texan Eye (5717 Balcones Dr). Additionally, consider carpooling or using public transportation if possible. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Yes, the patio will be closed to all access during the construction period. We understand this may be inconvenient, but these improvements are essential for creating a more accessible and welcoming environment for everyone. We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance our campus.
Access to Covenant Hall, the Sanctuary, and the Fellowship and Education Building (FEB) will be available exclusively through our southern-facing entrances. These entrances will be clearly marked with temporary signage. Please follow the designated pathways and signs to reach your destination safely. Our welcome team will be available to assist you on Sunday mornings.
At this time, we do not anticipate any changes to our service times or locations. We will continue to hold services at 8:15 and 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary and at 11:00 a.m. in FE200.
We expect some disruptions to our regular activities and events due to the construction. We will do our best to minimize these impacts and will keep you informed of any changes to schedules or locations. Please check our website and email newsletters for the latest updates.
We are committed to maintaining accessibility throughout the construction period. Temporary ramps and pathways will be installed if needed, and our southern-facing entrances are all equipped with accessible routes. Our team will be available to assist anyone requiring additional help.

Opportunities will include helping with logistics, assisting with event setups, and supporting our communication efforts.
