Volunteers, who can commit to serve once a month, are needed to serve and nurture and play with Covenant’s youngest members! All volunteers will be trained to teach, assist and foster a welcoming and safe learning experience for our kids.

Nursery Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to care for and play with Covenant’s youngest members! All volunteers will be trained on nursery policies and paired with an experienced caregiver to provide a warm, inviting environment for children ages 4 and below.

Volunteers are needed to support the children of ESL students during their class times. Volunteers help provide a fun, engaging experience for children ages 4 and under alongside experienced caregivers.

JOY Ministry Leaders
Covenant Kids wants all children & families to feel welcome, known, and loved! Our Joy Ministry was created to provide all children the ability to experience community here at Covenant. We pair trained volunteers with children who might need special support or accommodations to create an environment for them to fully participate in our programming.

Youth Ministry
Youth Leader
Middle School and High School Small Group Leaders meet biweekly and facilitate a safe and healthy environment for our youth. Leaders specialize in building friendships, mentoring kids, praying for one another, and having fun! We need leaders to fill positions on Sunday mornings as well as Wednesday evenings.

Slide Operator
Manage slides for worship services and special events. No experience required. Training is provided.

Support our online congregation by running cameras, operating slides, or managing the website portal for our Sunday livestream.

Assist with audio during worship services and special events.

Assist with stage lighting for worship services and special events. No experience required. Training is provided.

Worship Ministry
Usher
Welcome attendees into our worship space, assist with seating, answer questions, and help facilitate offering and communion. Training provided.
Instrumentalist
Use your talents and skills to help lead our congregation in musical worship during all services.
Lead Vocalist
Serve our congregation by helping lead worship alongside the band in all worship services. Auditions required.
Worship Setup
Help prepare the worship space for services such as communion, paraments, hanging of the green, etc.
Altar Flowers
Give flowers for the sanctuary in memory or honor of loved ones. Arrangements are $45. Learn more at covenant.org/flowerform.
First Impressions
Welcome Team Member
Join us for just one Sunday a month as a welcoming presence to greet Sunday morning guests, answer questions, and direct them to where they need to go.

Front Desk Coordinator
Welcoming and friendly personalities are occasionally needed to greet visitors and take messages from the front desk. No technical skills are required and training is available!

Small Groups
Small Group Leaders
New small group leaders are needed to keep pace with our growing congregation. Leaders choose their group’s meeting day and location. No experience is required, and we will provide leader training, resources, and support.

Card Writing
Come and join a new ministry of sending handwritten notes or greeting cards to encourage someone in the Covenant family. A word of encouragement goes a long way to comfort those in need, celebrate the birth of a baby, and share God’s love. Cards and postage are provided. Come anytime! Participants gather on the first Wednesday of every month from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.

Memorial Service Usher
Volunteers provide support by ushering on campus memorial services.

Prayer Team Member
Uphold the congregation, its ministries, and the larger community in prayer at a place and time of your choosing. Requests sent over email.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Meets: 3rd Tuesdays, 1:30 p.m., SA 114
“Wrapping God’s love around those in need”
Members knit and crochet baby blankets and shawls for those in need due to illness or loss, plus hats and scarves for homeless young adults. All are welcome to join as there is teaching every meeting for novices.
