A significant practice in following Jesus is learning to better understand God’s good purposes for us and the world we inhabit. We offer various studies and classes to help one another learn about God, ourselves and the world God calls us to love and serve.

Weekday Classes

Andrew Hawkins Men’s Bible Study

This study is home to a diverse group of men who meet for friendship and to study the Bible. The structure is informal, often leading to lively and earnest discussions.

Kairos

Kairos class participants typically watch a video and then engage in a facilitated discussion. Kairos follows a study series, but every class can stand alone making it convenient to drop in anytime.

The purpose of this study is to increase knowledge of Christian faith through the study of books on contemporary issues of the Bible.

Monday Morning Disciples Bible Study

This study focuses on the disciple as a learner, believer, follower, proclaimer and servant, while providing the small group fellowship for study, prayer, preparation, support and servanthood. The study uses Kerygma curriculum and is currently studying the Gospel of John.

Sunday Afternoon Men’s Bible Study

The men involved in the Sunday Afternoon Bible Study are committed to this intimate time of Bible study and prayer. In addition to scripture, our small group studies the writing of Presbyterian pastors and theologians.

Yoga

Practice good stewardship of your body while deepening your walk with Christ by joining this group. Sharon Johnson, a veteran yoga teacher, teaches morning classes. Each class ends with a reading from scripture or another Christian resource. Yoga is for everyone – all body shapes and sizes and ages.
