Mission Spotlight

January Spotlight:
Thanks, Healthcare Workers

For our January mission project, we are making valentine cards and writing thank you letters for Austin’s frontline healthcare workers at Ascension Seton Hospitals. Ascension is planning a thank you celebration for their workers in February and needs volunteers to make homemade valentine cards to say thanks for their service to our community.
This is an opportunity for us to be a "love letter to Austin" and we have committed to making 500 cards! Any size; any shape!
Drop off your cards and letters on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside Covenant Hall or on Sunday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Read the details below to learn more. If you have questions, contact Whitney Bell.
What is the project?
We are making valentine cards to be delivered to frontline healthcare workers. Cards can be homemade or store-bought with a personal note of thanks and appreciation. The cards will be delivered on Valentine’s Day to frontline healthcare workers in Austin.

Are there specifics for the size and content of the cards?
No! The cards can be big and creative, or small and simple. We just ask for them to be heartfelt!

How many cards?
Ascension Seton is hoping to receive 10,000 cards! Covenant has pledged to make between 300 and 500. You can make one, or you can make many!

Where do we drop them off?
We will collect the cards on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside of Covenant Hall and again from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Jan. 31.
