Silent Advent Retreat is Dec. 9

Covenant members and friends are invited to unplug using the ancient spiritual practice of solitude this Advent. Make plans to attend Covenant’s Guided Silent Advent retreat on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cedarbrake Retreat Center in Belton.

A silent retreat is an extended period of time in which an individual seeks to be alone with the Lord to listen, rest and be transformed by God’s spirit. We have space for up to 50 people, ages 16 and up. Cost is $10.

Sign up here.

For more information, contact Kay Austin at kaustin@covenant.org.

A second silent retreat will be offered Thursday, Jan. 11, for 30 individuals. Priority in January will be given to those who did not attend the December retreat. Look for sign-ups coming for the second retreat soon!
