The most fun week of the summer 2019 is June 3-7!
Join the kids and volunteers of Covenant for Power Up, VBS 2019. Each day, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, our kids will discover how “God’s power has given us everything we need to live a godly life" (2 Peter 1:3a, NIV).
Covenant Children and Family Ministry will hold VBS orientation and training for volunteers. Plan to attend to find out what is expected each day. This is one of the most fun and inspiring inter-generational weeks of the year, and we want to make sure our kids are known, loved, cared for and SAFE!
Childcare is available during with 48-hour advance notice.
Our nursery provides safe and loving childcare for babies three months up to four years old. Our nursery is divided by developmental stages; children grow and learn at their own pace. Our staff, trained in CPR and first aid, provide care for all worship services and most church-wide events.
In Covenant’s preschool ministry, we deliver age-appropriate Bible lessons through small group time, and do activities and crafts to convey messages of God's love. Parents securely sign their children into a classroom on the third floor of the Fellowship and Education Building.
Kindergartners through 5th grade students start their Sunday with a large gathering where they sing songs of worship and praise. They are then divided into grade and gender groups led by “shepherds” (volunteers). Through these small groups, children get a sense of belonging and share lessons that help them know Jesus better.
Fun and Bible study during the 11 a.m. worship services is provided for kids 4 years through 1st grade in the Fellowship and Education Building
Covenant will not have Sunday school on July 7 and August 4. We encourage you to worship as a family on these Sundays.
Covenant offers air-conditioned play dates during the summer! Everyone is welcome to attend! Playdates begin June 12 and are held on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday morning from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the FE 402 Gym. Playdates continue through Aug. 14. Bring bikes, riding toys, balls, and other indoor stuff for your kid(s) to play with. (Church play items are not available for use, only the space.)
