Presbyterian Women (PW) is part of a national group that offers opportunities for women to grow in their faith and in their friendships. PW offers Bible study, fellowship and service opportunities through monthly Bible Study, women’s programs, mission and outreach. PW also honors a woman of Covenant each year with an Honorary Lifetime Achievement Award.
PW Programs at Covenant
PW is excited to offer many programs that meet monthly or bi-monthly to provide the opportunity for women of all ages and stages in life to engage in small group faith communities while balancing the many demands that women today face. Whether it’s parenting, work, serving as a caregiver for family members or traveling as an empty nester, PW offers a community that is right for you.
PW Women’s Monthly Bible Study
Gather monthly in a small group (circle) for Bible Study, fellowship, prayer and mission. The 2021-2022 study is What My Grandmothers Taught Me, Learning from the Women in Matthew’s Genealogy of Jesus.
Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary— Matthew names these women for a reason. How might Jesus have heard the stories of his Grandmothers? What can these Grandmothers-of-the Faith teach us? Their stories will lead us into the gospel and the good news about Jesus.
