Our Middle School ministry is a place for 6th, 7th and 8th graders to discover the extravagant love God has for them while being a part of an incredible community.
Sunday Morning — D Groups
Sunday mornings at 9:30, our Middle School students get together with our high schoolers on the 4th floor of the Fellowship and Education Building for games, fellowship, and worship. After that, the 6th, 7th and 8th graders split into small groups based on their grade and gender in order to dive into the Bible and community together. We’d love you to join us!
During the school year, our large group Middle School youth group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m. We gather in our youth groom in FE 400 for a short time of fellowship and then head to FE 404. Youth group is a great way for students to connect in an unintimidating, welcoming atmosphere. More than anything, this is a place where students learn about God, the Bible and what it means to have an authentic relationship with Christ.

Fall Retreat November 11-13
In November, our entire Student Ministry will be headed to Camp Champion for a weekend of incredible games, worship and fellowship! This is a perfect way to get plugged in with the student community at Covenant and a great opportunity to grow in your faith. Sign-ups will be out soon so keep an eye out!
Oklahoma City Mission Trip
Middle school summer trips are on a two-year rotation. In 2016, we traveled to Oklahoma City. Through this trip, our students get the opportunity to serve in mission. We partner with Vine Community Church and Hope House in Oklahoma City. Students serve and learn about the city in a variety of ways. We will help with tornado relief, at soup kitchen and with vacation Bible school. Hope House provides housing for homeless families while they get on their feet.
The Great Escape
Every other year, Covenant students entering seventh and eighth grade are invited to travel to Gunnison, Colo., for the Great Escape. Our kids will take off for this six-day trip near the end of June. While there, the kids white-water raft, hike, play games, hear messages from great speakers and learn about God while enjoying the great (and much cooler) outdoors.
D*Now, an in-town retreat for 7th through 12th-grade students, is held annually in January. Students stay in host homes, get to know members of their small groups and grow in the their faith. Jan. 13- 15, 2017.
