What is the Good Life?
“What is the good life?” is the topic for our new Covenant Lab, an intensive, month-long learning experience is designed for spiritual and cultural renewal Sundays in February at 9:30 a.m. For centuries, “what is the good life? has been the central question to cultures, and religious and political communities. Today it seems we are distracted by the sheer pace of life and the accompanying lack of intentionality with which we lead our lives. Even when we attempt to answer this question, we tend to leave God out. In his award-winning book, A Secular Age, philosopher Charles Taylor shows how the modern age accepts no final goals beyond human flourishing, and that this is true of no other previous society. In our lab, we will ask about human flourishing in such a way that invites God into our definition. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
